The Bahamas & Bermuda Islands are a Mecca for divers, sailors and sun worshippers alike. Although often thought to be part of the Caribbean, the Bahamas and Bermuda are an archipelago of 700 islands - each with its own character - plus thousands of islets dotting the ocean 55 miles off the Florida coast.

The Bahamas are located on New Providence Island, neighbouring the aptly named Paradise Island, the capital city of Nassau offers a unique combination of A-List glamour and tropical laid back charm. The Out Islands are hidden gems dotted with tiny, remote villages where people live simply. It's easy to see why when you encounter their quite simply stunning beaches, and incredible diving and fishing sites. Perhaps the most famous of the Bahamas Islands is Grand Bahama. Its beautiful blend of cultural charm, natural wonders and modern amenities, not to mention the wonderfully warm welcome of its people, which all make it a favourite with returning visitors to the Bahamas.

Bermuda is the perfect destination for relaxation and rejuvenation. A stunning archipelago of 10 principle islands connected by bridges, far north of the Caribbean Sea, it abounds with recreational opportunities. Scuba divers delight in the 300 or more shipwrecks dotting the nearby reefs in the Gulf Stream. Golf enthusiasts love its fantastic golf courses. Culture vultures revel in its wealth of historic sights, including the wonderful town of St. George's, the impressive Botanical Gardens, the Commissioner's House and the fascinating Bermuda Arts Centre.

The weather is good all year and can average 350 days of sunshine, the water as warm as the air. The rainy season extends from May to November when there is a slight chance of hurricanes. Peak season is December to April.
