SPAIN & PORTUGAL
Spain
Barcelona
Barcelona easily competes with European capital cities with its stylish blend of medieval and modern architecture, creative gastronomy, affordable fashion, and nightlife - this city likes to party!
Madrid
Considered the soul of Spain, Madrid is its tapas-loving, flamenco-dancing, bull-fighting vibrant capital with the non-stop nightlife. The city has three major reference points: the Puerta del Sol - its absolute centre; Plaza Mayor, the Golden Age core; and the architecturally extravagant Plaza de Cibeles.
Mallorca
The largest of the Balearic Islands, Mallorca is full of unexpected treats, from 7,000 year-old Stone Age houses to glamorous art galleries in the capital, Palma. The warm climate has long attracted outsiders with Roman and Arabic influences clear in Mallorca's landscape and culture. What endures are the values of its courteous, proud people. It's easy to escape the crowds by heading inland.
La Manga
La Manga is a 1,400 acre luxury complex set within olive and lemon groves on a sandy arm of land on the southern coast of Spain. It boasts international standard football pitches, three 18-hole championship golf courses, an 80-bay floodlit driving range, one of Europe's largest and finest tennis centres, spa, and a beautiful shallow lagoon - Mar Menor.
Costa Del Sol
Within this Estepona is a small seaside resort that has preserved its Andalusian charm. Spain's Costa del Sol is a vibrant region with 24 fantastic beaches, its avenidas are lined with palm trees, marble pavements, and exclusive boutiques. With 320 days of sun a year and the lowest average temperature around 9°C in January.
Tenerife
Off the coast of Africa and lying in the Atlantic Ocean is Tenerife, the largest - and highest - of the Canary Islands archipelago of extinct volcanoes. The weather here is considered perfect and there are miles of beaches to enjoy. Most visitors content themselves with lazy days on the beach. However there are myriad opportunities to be more active and explore the idyllic island in a day.
Portugal
Lisbon
Portugal's capital straddles seven hills which run down to the shores of the Tagus river. Steeped in history and lined with hip bars and shops this cosmopolitan city effortlessly combines traditional and new attractions. As well as a rich cultural heritage, it has stunning national parks and clean blue rivers and lakes for swimming and boating.
Algarve
The Algarve is Portugal's most southerly region and its prime tourist area. People bypass the rest of the country for the Algarve's 100+ miles of pure, clean coastline. Behind lies picturesque countryside dotted with Moorish villages. As well as the Blue Flag beaches and walks in fabulous landscapes, the Algarve is a world-class golf
