This means the dramatic views can often be appreciated in rare total peace: a cascade of glass plunges dramatically from the Lodge’s skillion roof, allowing subtropical forests, towering peaks and aquamarine reef to take centre stage. The entire layout, in fact, takes advantage of the stunning location, with the Lagoon Lofts designed so that your upper level bedroom looks directly over the best views on the island.
All the room interiors feature timber floors, white shutters and custom furniture pieces which create a pleasing beach house chic. The piece de resistance though must be the premium Lidgbird Suite, which offers dramatic 270° ocean views direct from its large wrap around verandah, which also happens to house its own plunge spa pool.
The petite Capella Spa’s intriguing menu features a range of soothing foot therapies for guests who’ve made the stout climb up and down nearby Mount Gower.

The premium Lidgbird Suite is truly something special with dramatic 270-degree ocean and mountain views. Interiors are generous open plan and feature custom furniture and artworks. Access is via a private boardwalk onto a large wraparound verandah with plunge spa, daybed, deckchairs and outdoor shower surrounded by frangipani trees.

The Restaurant commands spectacular views of the Lagoon and Mountains, providing a dramatic backdrop to savour inspired menus. Rates at Capella include gourmet breakfast, sunset drinks and canapes, three course dinner with selected wines and non-alcoholic beverages.
