Le Prince Maurice evokes old world opulence on an isolated 148 acre peninsula surrounded by white sand beaches and an azure lagoon. A theatre of visual drama entertains the eye from the moment you set foot in the expansive lobby, whose vaulted ceiling and colonnade of columns guide your attention to a slate blue infinity pool and the Indian Ocean beyond. 89 ‘Spice Route themed' thatched roof suites overlook the beach or sit on stilts above the lagoon. Senior suites have Jacuzzi tubs and walled courtyards with sunken marble baths. All have been simply designed to cocoon guests in an air of easy elegance. The Guerlain spa offers cutting edge treatments, plus the internationally renowned Body Doctor Fitness programme. In the restaurant, there's a full spa menu, developed by a nutritionist. Le Prince Maurice's two award-winning bars both face the water; wonderful views to enjoy over a Splendour of the Prince, a signature cocktail. Mauritian specialties are popular at Le Barachois, a magical floating restaurant surrounded by mangrove trees, while L' Archipel in the main building offers á la carte, alfresco dining overlooking the pool and beach. This all-suite resort offers luxurious and private accommodation in 76 Junior Suites and 12 Senior Suites, all in a variety of locations.
The spacious and luxurious Junior Suites are available in a variety of locations. 68 are either on the ground floor or first floor and situated along the beach or in a tropical garden facing the sea. 8 Junior Suites are on stilts over a natural fish reserve.
Individual villa type accommodation with a thatched roof. 9 on the ground floor level with a private heated swimming pool and direct access to the beach. 3 on stilts on the border of a natural fish reserve (without swimming pool).
L'Archipel Restaurant - located in the main building, overlooking the pool and the beach and set up across three areas, two of which are open-air decks. L'Archipel is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and it offers an à la carte service with light Mauritian enhanced gourmet food.
Le Barachois - located in a unique environment at a distance from the main building and surrounded by mangroves, this floating restaurant comprises five decks seating a maximum of 40 people. It overlooks a large natural fish reserve with an exceptional unspoiled view of a mountain range. The sunset from Le Barachois is breathtaking. The floating restaurant is open for dinner and offers daily specials including grills, seafood and Mauritian delicacies.
Le Beach Restaurant - this restaurant of 60 place sittings is situated on a wooden deck located near the beach. All the furniture are made of wrought iron. Le Beach Restaurant is open for lunch with an à la carte menu and special event each evening.
The Laguna Bar - situated in the main building, the bar overlooks the pool and the beach. The Laguna has two sundecks and serves cocktail specialities of the house. There is light music entertainment in the evening (piano, jazz, sitar, concert flute).
The Lounge Bar - located in the main building overlooking the pool and adjacent to L'Archipel restaurant, the Lounge Bar is comfortable and intimate, ideal for an aperitif before dinner and after dinner drinks.
