Tropical beauty beckons on the largest of the 365 mostly uninhabited cays of The Bahamas' Exuma archipelago. Surrounded by crystal-clear waters, the island's gently sloping ivory beaches are a constant invitation to luxuriate in paradise. Set around the tranquil turquoise waters and crescent-shaped Emerald Beach is the Four Seasons, the only full service deluxe resort on Great Exuma.
Combining sophisticated comfort and an unspoiled setting, all 183 spacious rooms and suites have terraces or balconies, and many offer memorable views of the beautiful bay. The spacious one-bedroom Beach Front Suites are especially good for families and can be combined into a two-bedroom suite with a connecting room.
An elaborate spa soothes and heals with homeopathic therapies - using salts extracted from local salt beds together with indigenous herbs, flowers and oils – across 17 lavish treatment rooms, including a couple’s suite.
All three of the resort’s stylish restaurants specialise in Bahamian and continental dishes, especially seafood. Signature restaurant Il Cielo looks out towards the shore through wide windows, and the place for cocktails at sunset is Ting'm, the open-air beach front bar. A kid’s club offers daily fun for 5 to 12 year olds, leaving adults free to enjoy the Greg Norman designed 18-hole golf course.
