Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas

The only retreat of its kind in this ritzy setting, Four Seasons Las Vegas is the centrepiece of the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino at the south end of the magical Strip. This is one luxury hotel where you're not greeted by the clang and flashing lights of slots machines. In fact, a separate driveway and portico entrance lead you to pure calm and quiet.

With just 424 contemporary rooms and suites - all on the 35th to 39th floors of the tower - Four Seasons Las Vegas can be thought of as an exclusive penthouse sanctuary, where the atmosphere and personal service are unusually intimate for Las Vegas.

There's a superb pool-view fitness room and a small spa. Guests also have free use of all the facilities of Mandalay Bay, including the wave pool and casino complex.

All meals and afternoon tea are served at the Verandah Cafe, a light-filled setting that breaks out onto a terrace facing a beautifully landscaped pool. There may not be a celebrity chef but the setting is about as relaxing as it gets in Vegas. Just off the main lobby is the dinner-only Charlie Palmer Steak restaurant, one of the top steakhouses in town.

PURELY FOR YOU

Upgrade to a Premier Strip-View Room for breathtaking views of the entire Strip through floor-to-ceiling windows in this spacious 550 sq ft room
