Western Antigua’s Hermitage Bay is a resort with a difference - just 25 individual cottage suites landscaped into the lush hillside of a perfect bay. Eight wooden split-level Beach Cottage and Beach Front Cottage suites are set back from the 1,250 foot long bay with king-sized beds in spacious bedrooms.
The Hillside Cottage suites offer spectacular views and are designed to provide complete privacy, each with its own large plunge pool and sunbathing deck complete with sun loungers. All suites have a large veranda with double day beds and outdoor garden shower.
Friendly, efficient and attentive staff provide outstanding service. On arrival, guests are assigned a personal ambassador who will check you into your room, unpack for you and generally look after you exceedingly well. With tables arranged on two levels overlooking the stunning bay, Hermitage Bay’s restaurant serves a fusion of Caribbean and Modern European dishes, created, where possible, from local ingredients. The colonial style poolside bar counter is ideal for sipping a cold beer or tropical cocktail.

Each spacious, individual, shingle roofed Cottage Suite captures the charm of the island’s colonial past, yet has all the amenities of a modern-day luxury resort.
The Hillside Cottage Suites offer spectacular views and are designed to provide complete privacy, each with its own large plunge pool and sunbathing deck complete with chaise lounge and sitting area. The bedroom has a ceiling fan and is air conditioned, with a King sized bed leading in to the bathroom. All Suites have a large verandah with double day beds and plantation chairs. Spacious and luxurious bathrooms are complemented by the outdoor garden shower. Each Suite is fitted with an LCD flat screen TV, DVD player, personal safe, iPod docking station, wireless broadband internet, mini bar, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities.

The beachfront restaurant now boasts some of the best food on the island. Under the direction of the head chef it offers a varied menu of both Caribbean favourites and modern European cooking with an emphasis on fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. The restaurant's idyllic location makes it the perfect choice for al fresco dining, but you are just as welcome to enjoy your meal in the privacy of your Cottage Suite or by the pool if you prefer.
Spa therapists are there to make your stay as relaxing as possible - let them pamper you with our range of sumptuous treatments. At the beach non-motorised watersports are available on the beach, staff are always on hand for sailing and windsurfing instruction. Or, if you prefer to relax more sedately, just lounge with a book on the beach or by the pool in one of the comfortable chaise-longues. Public areas are designed to suit your mood. If you are feeling outgoing, the pool deck may be the place for you.
Service at Hermitage Bay is friendly and discreet; staff have one aim and that is to accommodate your every request. Ambassadors will personally check you into your suite whilst you unwind and recover from your journey with a cool drink. If you wish, they can even take care of all your unpacking.
