Ivory Lodge Lion Sands

Excite your spirit and create unforgettable memories at the Ivory Lodge, sitting amongst the unspoilt plains of the international award-winning Lion Sands private Game Reserve. The land has been owned and managed by the warmly welcoming More family for four generations and stretches for miles along the Sabie River, which forms its natural boundary with the renowned Kruger National Park.
This opulent sanctuary was awarded third best hotel in the world by Tatler Magazine in 2006 and has been included in their ‘101 Best Hotels in the World’ 2006 and 2010 listings.
Comprising six spacious and simple style lodges positioned at least 20 metres apart for privacy and linked to raised viewing areas by wooden walkways. Carved wood doors open into each lodge where a colour scheme of ebony and ivory complete with African furnishings successfully merges old and new to create African chic. Lodges also feature a king-size bed, living room with fireplace, open-plan bathroom with enclosure for outdoor shower, plunge pool and private viewing deck to admire  breathtaking views of the Sabie River, which has flowing water all year and you may even be lucky enough to witness baby elephants bathing. The Ivory Lodge also offers guests use of a private bar, library lounge, a superb river deck, Lalamuka Health Spa & Gym and an indoor and outdoor ‘boma’ dining area so you can recount your thrilling bush stories.
