Best for families with babies, the former have sundecks and steps leading directly into the lagoon. The Beach Villas, with private verandas, are dotted along the sand. There's space in all rooms for an extra bed (separate accommodation is compulsory for children aged 12+).
Your villa apart, a timber table at the Veli Café at one end of the island is perhaps the most romantic place to dine. The Spa is a vast wooden pavilion offering over 40 blissful therapies, including customised treatments to your zodiac sign.
At the southern end of the island, the complimentary Kids Club for two to eleven year olds features a large sand-filled playground, shallow swimming pool, and a dedicated beach area and lagoon right next door. The full programme of supervised activities includes sand castle competitions, building crab kingdoms, traditional island games, nature walks and learning water sports. It's open until 10pm. There's a children's buffet in the main restaurant. For teenagers there's a (soundproofed) nightclub, and for the sporty there's tennis, squash, golf and a large water sports centre. The island has enough activities to keep the entire family happy.
