Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi spreads over 60 acres of peaceful Chiang Mai paddy fields and exotic plantations in a recreated chiang – a self contained city. Guests stay in 123 private two-floor villas, colonial-style suites or the grand residences. Suites run the length of a white colonnade near the pool and lobby, and have large private verandas. Famed for their spaciousness, villas - some on stilts - provide an elegant living area on the ground floor, with the entire top floor as a bedroom and bathroom. Celebrities and visiting royalty stay at the ultra private signature residences, for groups of up to 12.
The soul of the resort is the stunning 25 suite Dheva Spa, whose design was inspired by a 19th century Mandalay palace. Here experts can prescribe a bespoke wellness programme.

The interiors evoke a bygone era of elegant grandeur. Each suite has a separate living room and a large private verandah. The ceilings soar to five metres enhancing the feeling of airy spaciousness, so inviting in the tropics. All guests enjoy the dedicated service of butlers.
