Raffles Dubai

Raffles has made a dazzling debut in the Middle East with the pyramid-shaped Raffles Dubai. The head-turning, 19-storey, all-suite hotel adjoins Wafi the ultra exclusive shopping complex home to 350 exclusive wonderful stores. The airport is a quarter of an hour away.

Inside the unique structure of the hotel are 248 opulent suites displaying magnificent Middle Eastern and Asian designs. Private balconies give majestic views of Dubai, the most jaw-dropping of cosmopolitan cities.

The friendly and efficient staff are said to be the best in the city by far; always at hand to do what you ask with care and charm. Their presence (and absence) contributes to the restful, residential feel here.

Among the hotel's 11 unashamedly plush dining spaces are four rooftop restaurants and bars. On the 17th floor is the award-winning The Noble House, a fine dining Chinese restaurant where impressive cooking rituals are performed against a cityscape backdrop.

RafflesAmrita, the Raffles signature spa has been brought along, with seven treatment rooms including a couples/VIP suite with a large Jacuzzi. It is one of the first spas to offer a 24-carat gold facial.

Unique to Dubai is the two-acre Raffles Botanical Garden on the third floor.
