Round Hill Hotel & Villas

Timeless glamour, impeccable service and low key opulence are the hallmarks of Round Hill. Originally opened in the 50's to the delight of film stars and royals (President Kennedy was a frequent visitor), the private 110 acre resort adorns a peninsula close to Montego Bay.

Chic Pineapple House offers 36 white stone floor oceanfront rooms designed by Ralph Lauren. Upstairs rooms have large louvered windows folding back to take full advantage of the unforgettable views, while the downstairs rooms have a balcony or patio.

There are 27 individual villas dotted over the hillside, each with two to five suites, immersed in 30 acres of paradise gardens. All have west-facing verandas; most have their own pool. Not that the youngest visitors are likely to be at ‘home' much. There are talent shows, reggae lessons, story hour and so much more at the complimentary Pineapple Kids Club, open all day for guests aged three to twelve. The Seaside Terrace, the resort's main dining area is next to the Cocktail Bar where dinner is served under the stars six nights a week. The Restaurant at Round Hill, open November to April, serves a variety of dishes inspired by the bountiful market basket of Jamaica.

Golf privileges at The Tryall give guests a sporting option to rival the complimentary water sports, five tennis courts and pool. The simplistic spa occupies an 18th century plantation house, with air-conditioned gym, ten treatment rooms, Elemis Spa treatments, Spa pool, tranquility area and beachfront lawns.
