With just six secluded villas scattered around the shore, pretty coves and soft, crystalline beaches, Royal Plantation Island is a secluded paradise.

Guests can stay in any one of the one, two or three bedroom island homes, all offering magical views over the clear lapis lazuli waters - or simply reserve the whole island for complete and utter seclusion. Everything you might need during your stay is provided, including snorkel, masks and fins! The fridge will be well provisioned with items from your personal selection, making this a remarkable home-away-from-home. You won't be expected to cater for yourself, by any means. Lunch and dinner is served every day and night in one of the island's excellent restaurants or food can be prepared in the privacy of your own villa. The Harbour Club produces beautifully fresh, perfectly prepared dishes in elegant but informal surroundings.

Snorkelling in and around the shallow waters surrounding Fowl Cay is memorable - the Exumas have some of the best snorkelling in the Bahamas. There are plenty of other water-based activities too - sailing, sea-kayaking and deep-sea fishing. A boat guide is on hand to take you on a short hop to one of the other islands - you might even catch a glimpse of porcine resident Spot and her piglets enjoying a swim off the shores of Big Major Spot island!
