Set in 25,000 hectares of verdant bush along the Bushmans River, this award-winning private game reserve is one of the largest in the Eastern Cape, malaria free, embracing five eco-systems and providing a safe haven for some of the world's most endangered species. Guests stay in luxury accommodation in one of seven lodges, each offering a different type of African experience, from the Edwardian splendour of the estate's manor house, to the ultimate thatched tent containing every modern convenience. Each lodge has its own swimming pool, some suites with private plunge pools. There are indoor and outdoor dining options, as well as the opportunity to enjoy an authentic African ‘boma' barbecue.
