The Cellars lies at the heart of the Constantia Valley, a magnificently restored manor house and wine cellar surrounded by stunning landscaped gardens sheltering under the wooded eastern slopes of Table Mountain. All part of the oak-beamed Edwardian main house, 53 bright, beautifully decorated rooms and suites with cosy private lounges offer views over nine acres of picturesque gardens and vineyards, False Bay or the mountains.
Whilst there are three pools, a tennis court, golf green, easel and water colour paint sets and a spa, nothing quite beats a continental meal at the glass walled Greenhouse (carefully built around a giant 300 year old oak tree) where award winning sommelier Miguel Chan will suggest the perfect accompanying vintage. Or enjoy the local specialties of the cosier Cape Malay. At the chic Martini Bar guests and visitors can enjoy afternoon tea before it becomes the place to be seen come sunset. Martini, naturally, is the signature cocktail, and it may take patience to discover your favourite; there are over 150 on the menu. The hotel is adjacent to the world famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, and very near the Constantia Wine Route.

With its understated elegance and charm, the hotel boasts 53 luxury rooms and suites, with breathtaking views across the 9 acres (3.5 hectares) of world renowned gardens and vineyard.
These spacious double bedrooms (larger than the standard bedroom size), with lounging area within the bedroom are havens of peace and comfort. In the Hohenort Manor House - enhanced by the Edwardian ambience and panoramic vistas of the Peninsula, False Bay or the mountain.
There are seven suites of which two are situated in the Cellars Main House. The suite upstairs has a sunny bedroom overlooking the tranquil camphor walk, terrace and water garden.
The other suite is on the ground floor and opens onto the Cellars pool and fern garden. The suite, situated in the Hohenort Manor House, is Edwardian in style looking out onto the Herb and Citrus Terraces.
Enjoy the local cuisine in The Cape Malay Restaurant, sample the exclusive menu of The Greenhouse Restaurant or relax with afternoon tea in the lounge. In the evening, try a martini from the record breaking list at The Martini Lounge or, if it's a more private dining experience you'd like to try, the Wine Cellar can provide. The Cape Malay Restaurant - is the brainchild of Liz McGrath who, in 1996, decided to showcase the Cape's unique cuisine to both local and international visitors.
This local cuisine restaurant is a unique dining experience in authentic Cape Malay food and exciting choice of traditional taste treats awaits you. Spicy, rustic colours create a pleasant Eastern ambience. Cape Malay cooking is unique to the Western Cape. The Cape Malay is open from Tuesdays to Saturdays.

The Greenhouse Restaurant - This stylish Restaurant, situated adjacent to the historic cellar, and carefully built around a giant 300-year-old oak, offers unparalleled garden vistas, whether you opt for the airy indoors or the sun-drenched terrace.
Under the direction of F & B Manager, Morkel Brink, the friendly service is always attentive and unassuming and, of course, what dining experience would be complete without the perfectly selected wine? The Sommelier will be on hand to assist with the perfect wine to compliment your menu choice, from the award winning wine list.
Martini - the newly opened bar and lounge, is not just another hotel bar but a place where guests and visitors to the hotel can enjoy afternoon tea and possibly an early martini in this very chic and contemporary environment!
At night the space is transformed into a sophisticated place to be seen, where guests can sample our signature drink, the martini, of which there are 152 on the menu, making this one of the world's longest martini lists. This feat is at present being verified by the Guinness Book of Records and The International Bartenders Association.
If martini is not your drink there are numerous other cocktails on the menu, Champagne by the glass and of course all the fabulous wines of the Cape with emphasis on the wines of the Constantia Valley. from Tuesdays to Saturdays.
