On Oman’s stunning Boushar beach front, desert and mountains behind, stands the understated Chedi, the epitome of the new hip Arabia.
The 156 exquisitely modern rooms and suites offer exclusive access to turquoise pools bordered by cosy cabanas and a private stretch of beach. Most present scenic views of the Gulf of Oman or the majestic Haajjar Mountain. The Club Suites are spacious, white painted villas among the palm trees and splashing fountains. Some come with silver painted cupolas above the oversized beds; all have black marble sunken baths, a Bose hi-fi system and two mini iPods preloaded with over 1,500 pieces of music. A vast room service breakfast is delivered to your room any time until midday.
Treatments at the seven-room Balinese spa are excellent. Signature spa treatments are the Chedi indulgence or the Silk treatment. The food is equally superb. The Chedi prides itself on The Restaurant, winner of numerous international awards for design and its Arabic, Mediterranean, Asian and Indian menus, prepared in full theatrical view from four open kitchens. The Beach Restaurant, which specialises in seafood is located directly on the beach overlooking the Gulf of Oman. A French pastry chef bakes the famed bread and cakes.
Cocktails at sunset at the adult only Chedi pool, an infinity edged beauty adjoining the beach, are not to be missed. Scuba diving, dolphin watching, snorkelling and other watersports can be arranged by the concierge.

All rooms and suites at The Chedi Muscat are tastefully appointed with stylish bedrooms and most of them present scenic views of the Gulf of Oman or the majestic Haajjar mountains. Open-plan bathrooms with sizeable washbasins, rainforest showers, separate lavatory areas, wardrobes, bath robes, slippers and hairdryers are standard in-room amenities. Please note bathtubs are only offered in Chedi Club Suites, all other room types only have showers. PLEASE NOTE COMPULSORY HOTEL POLICY FOR EARLY ARRIVALS AND LATE DEPARTURES - All guests arriving on flights scheduled to arrive prior to 9 am must book the room from the night before and all guests departing on flights scheduled to leave after 7 pm must reserve an additional night.
Slightly larger than the Serai Rooms, The Chedi Deluxe Rooms in the 2-storey Chedi Wing, offer areas of 39 sq m each. King-size beds, BOSE sound system and comfortable seating areas complement the ample settings.
Located in the 3-storey Serai wing, each room comprises 33 sqm of space, and is furnished with a queen-size bed and built-in divan.
