Dramatically perched on a bluff overlooking the Indian Ocean, the Ritz-Carlton, Bali Resort & Spa is an elegant enclave of stone villas around a tiered infinity pool high above the beach on the southern tip of Jimbaran.
The exclusive retreat offers 368 beautiful Balinese-style rooms and suites with views of the resort and the ocean. One, two and three-bed villas are set along the ocean front, among them one of the most spectacular in Bali; Ayana Villa has a gym, an entertainment area for 200 guests, and a couples' spa room. Sweeping ocean views come with every one of the 38 one-bed cliff villas, which come with extras such as private pool and an open-air lounge sheltered by a thatched bamboo roof, or an infinity plunge pool and relaxation pavilion.
The huge Thalasso and Spa, with its inviting pool dominated by a rustic high ceiling and surrounded by stone columns, is a spot marked ‘heaven.' It's also home to the world's largest Aquatonic seawater therapy pool and an impressive menu of rejuvenating treatments.
Eleven bars and restaurants grace the resort. Among the most noteworthy are the super-stylish Dava with water terrace and oyster bar serving outstanding world cuisine and the sand-floored Kisik at the foot of the cliff.

Indonesian Restaurant - LANGIT THEATRE - A visit to Bali would not be complete without experiencing at least one of its mesmerising dance performances. Dinners are as memorable as the performances themselves, with dozens of Indonesian specialties presented in a traditional warung (village eating house) style under the stars.
Italian Restaurant - SAMI-SAMI - A casual restaurant and bar featuring Italian cuisine. Situated on a bluff overlooking the Indian Ocean. Wood-fired pizzas, excellent pastas, trattoria style Italian cuisine and salads available at lunch and dinner. Each evening brings dusk's parade of jukung (fishing boats) and brilliant sunsets, seen best from our patio tables, and entertainment by strolling musicians.
Seafood Restaurant - KISIK BAR AND GRILL - A sand-floored restaurant and bar at the foot of the cliff on which the resort sits, Kisik means "a cliff rising out of the ocean". Resembling a Balinese beach warung, Kisik uses only the freshest seafood available at the market that day, grilled to order and served on banana leaves. A blackboard menu describes the fish, shrimp and selection of sauces, soup of the day and salad bar. Chardonnay Bar features over 40 chardonnays from around the world.
Thai Restaurant - PADI - The menu symbolises a culinary journey through the ancient Kingdom of Thailand. Highlights are Yum Hua Plee, Banana Blossom Salad, Choo Chee Goo Mangkorn, Balinese Lobster topped with thick curry sauce and Mien Kham, bettle leaves topped with prawn, chilli, lime,peanuts and coconut sauce. Enhancing the ambience are the thatched-roof pavilions that appear to float on lily ponds, surrounded by tropical foliage.
A breakfast buffet featuring morning specialties from around the world brings the freshness of the island directly to you.
KUBU - Tropical dreams of quaint beach huts, warm ocean waters and panoramic views come true at Kubu. Except for simple huts and lounge chairs, nothing has been altered, providing an idyllic setting for total relaxation. On the menu are kelapa muda (fresh young coconut) and other refreshing drinks to quench the thirsts of even the most avid sun worshipers, and old-fashioned picnic hampers filled with Indonesian, Mediterranean or "Flavors of Asia" specialties.
C-BAR - An outdoor cocktail lounge offers modern, oriental inspired morsels from a Small Bites Menu prepared by nearby Dava restaurant. The boutique outdoor cocktail bar is the perfect place to laze outdoors on opium beds watching the Indian Ocean with a fashionable cocktail and some freshly shucked oysters, or be seated on ultra-trendy bar stools enjoying a serving of magical sunset vistas. Refreshments can also be enjoyed at tables on the lawn. This trendy hot spot offers relaxation zones to enjoy sunset or pre and post-dinner drinks.
MARTINI CLUB - An exclusive bar featuring 35 classic and contemporary Martini selections, from an Ian Fleming 007 Martini to a Pandantini or Menehune Martini. An amazing translucent "under-lit" optis glass bar by renowned Bali-based Japanese glass art designer Seiki Torige is the Martini Club's centerpiece and a work of art.
